I’m new to church, and I’m wondering...

  • Am I going to feel out of place?

While we certainly hope not, everybody’s a little different and we know it can be awkward or uncomfortable visiting a church for the first time.

That said, you can join us anytime with full confidence that we genuinely care about you and want to make you feel welcome!

  • What should I wear?

Whether you’re dressed in your “sunday best” or not, we want to make sure that you feel welcome and at home! Our church is pretty casual in dress and demeanor, so wear what’s comfortable and expect to feel welcomed.

  • What about my kids?

Trinity Kids: Birth - 5th Grade

We believe that kids should have a blast at church every single week - and at Trinity Kids, we make this a priority. The other thing we make a priority is your children’s safety. Because of that, we have a detailed check-in process for our Trinity Kids ministry the first time that you visit. You’ll want to leave yourself an extra ten minutes to get signed in for the Trinity Kids experience. Trinity Kids is offered at every TBC Worship Service for kids ages infant through 5th Grade. Find out more below!

    Trinity Students: 6th - 12th Grade

Trinity Students is a place for Middle & Highschoolers to find community, deep friendships, mentorship, and age-appropriate study of the Bible. Trinity Students meet weekly on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings! Find out more below!

  • I don’t know what happens at church... What am I getting myself into?

In total, a Trinity Baptist Church service is about 75 minutes in length. Services begin with the Trinity Baptist Church Worship Band & Choir leading the church in music - song lyrics are projected onto the screens so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable.

After the music portion of service is complete, one of our pastors will come out to share an encouraging and hope-filled message. The message is based on our belief that the Bible is the only way to truly know God, and it’s just as relevant to us today as when it was first written—we believe that God’s word can transform our lives as we apply His principles every day.

We show generosity by giving during our services. We don’t pressure anyone to give money (especially if you’re new). In fact, we actually don’t want you to. Part of the reason people do give is to provide ways to make you feel special and welcomed! We genuinely care about you and you’re our valued guest.

I’m a Christian, and I’m wondering...

  • Are you guys serious about the Bible?

Super serious. Not only do we believe that the Bible is God’s complete and inerring Word, but our church was founded on the principle that biblical verse-by-verse teaching comes first.

Whether it’s a normal service, or some other event, you can expect all of our music and teaching to align with -and come from -the Bible.

  • Do you have an easy way for me to get connected?

Yes we do! There are many ways to get connected and find your place!

We have easy-to-enter Bible studies every Sunday at 9:15 am onsite. We also have small groups that meet in homes weekly.

It’s also easy to join a serve team and begin to make a difference.

And finally, our Community Impact projects are a terrific way to get connected with others while making a difference!

Values

We are committed to living out the values of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to love God, love others, and share the good news of Jesus Christ.

Jesus is the center

Everything we do points to Jesus.

Our worship is passionate because it all begins and ends with Him. Jesus is at the

heart of every aspect of our lives: our faith, our peace, our hope, our relationships,

and our purpose.

The Bible is the standard

The Word of God provides the clear and unchanging foundation for truth, guiding all decisions for daily living through wisdom.

The Bible contains the answers for the abundant life Jesus promises every believer.

The goal is spiritual maturity

Spiritual maturity is our pursuit.

The goal for every believer is not merely to believe in Jesus, but to grow and to

become more like Him every day. No matter where you are on the journey, your

goal is deeper union with Christ and maturity in Him.

This is the lifelong goal of every believer.

Tell people near and far about Jesus

The honor of our lives is to spread the news, both home and abroad, of the saving power of Jesus Christ. Every person on the planet desperately needs to hear about Jesus and the life He gives. We live to spread the message of hope and salvation to all people, to bring light to the darkness, to show people the path to hope. This is what we do.

Live generously

Generosity reflects the character of God.

God has given the greatest gift the world has ever seen in the person of Jesus. His

generosity motivates our generosity. Having received freely, we choose to give

freely. Never out of obligation or compulsion. Always as an act of worship and

overflow, we give sacrificially.

This is why we live generously.

Choose joy

If Jesus is alive, joy is the right response.

Life is hard, but God is good. So we choose to overcome feelings and

circumstances with the joy that flows from God. We will not be led by

discouragement or even hype. We choose to be led by the real and powerful joy of

the Lord. This is our unshakeable peace.

The joy of the Lord is our strength.

Impact the next generation

The next generation holds God’s leaders for both today and tomorrow. We influence and shape the hearts and minds of young people in order to prepare them for their calling in Christ. We pass on faith, wisdom, and the Word of God in order to create a powerful legacy which will carry God’s mission forward into the future. The next generation is our focus.

Don’t take today for granted

In fact, don’t take anything for granted.

God is the giver of everything good in our lives. Each day is a gift and so we live

with purpose, gratitude, and awareness. We will not be presumptuous and assume

our days are limitless. Instead, we will number our days and maximize each one for

the glory of God.

Today is a priceless gift from God.

Pursue excellence

In aiming for excellence we show reverence for the greatness of God.

God does all things well. And we do the same. In ministry, in our physical space, in

our personal lives, and as the Body of Christ, we do all things as unto the Lord, to

the best of our ability, to reflect the character of God.

God is worthy of our best.
